Portugal puts 1,680 million euros in public debt.
Lisbon, Portugal July 14 sold today .- EUR 1 680 million in Treasury bonds to two and nine years with a demand that doubled the offer, but with interest over previous operations, according to official sources said.
The Institute of Management of the Treasury and Public Credit (IGCP) which placed a specific emission of 877 million euros in bonds to two years with an average interest of 3.15%, buy mafia wars items, versus 1.71%, applied in April in the previous emission characteristics more similar.
The second issue, for EUR 803 million and nine years, was released to a half interest of 5.30 percent.
The value of the two issues amounts to 1,680 million euros, well above the 1,000 or 1,500 million euros that the state had expected.
